Estela glanced up at the clock for what must have been the tenth time that night. It was already 9:20 PM and her boss, Mr. Biggs, still hadn't shown up. He was running late (as usual). Estela was tired after a long day, and she wanted nothing more than to take a hot shower and then curl up in her bed...but Mr. Biggs had promised to make an announcement after closing time on Friday night. She wondered what he had to say, and she was determined to stick around to hear it. With Christmas around the corner, the announcement could be anything. Maybe they would be required to work extra hours to handle the holiday rush. Maybe they would recieve a generous holiday bonus! Or maybe he was going to finally reveal who would be replacing their head chef whenever he left to work at their new location. Estela hoped that it was the last one. She had been working at Tucker Biggs' bistro for three years. She knew that she had more than proven herself to be a competent and talented sous-chef in that

In my long life as a Deviant, I have bookmarked more than 179,000 photos. I want to share a bit of them with you, so that you may appreciate them again or discover new Deviants, while perceiving what pleases me. Because also a deviation is practically forgotten just after being published, and that's a shame. Do not hesitate to visit the pages of the authors of these beautiful works, knowing that many have unfortunately left us, disappointed with the little feedback they had (I should certainly also mention the competition with Facebook, Instagram, and other networks) ; or since May 2020 with Eclipse, the last dA version, which caused the loss of many useful and pleasant functions. Some are dead too, alas. Have a nice trip among these real pictures, gathered in my oldest favorites page ! (Most pics published before september 2005 !!)

Getting into the holiday spirit

✨🎄✨ This year, in the spirit of holiday festivities, I decided to do something that I've never done before, and I started writing a Christmas story. It's meant to be an entertaining, lighthearted, sentimental story. It's a work in progress though, so it's going to be edited and changed as I go along and add more to it... but if you want to see what I have so far, go check out the first part that I posted to my gallery.
